keep moving with Ije.

We welcome athletes of all levels, backgrounds, genders, and sports. Ije is the one-stop shop for athletes to improve their health and wellness.

Ije’s main goal for our athletes is to guide their development into smarter, more athletic, and more functional athletes through our SPA training methodology. Through our teachings they will gain understanding of the importance of training and why it’s essential in their pursuit of success.

Athletes should choose Ije if they are looking to increase their human performance, knowledge, and training with others who share the same needs. Ije is for the serious athlete, the focused athlete, the athlete looking to do more to better themselves. We look to not just train the athlete, motivate the athlete, but teach the athlete for their long-term success. Athletes will learn more about their strengths and weaknesses, while finding ways to improve both. The athlete that trains with Ije will related to other athletes in Ije Programming, as they too made the decision to standout from the pack.

Learn.Teach. Preach.Movement.

Ricky Igbani

Ricky Igbani was born in Nigeria, Africa and grew up in Randolph, MA. He grew up playing sports and went on to Lasell College where he not only studied his B.S in Criminal Justice with a minor in coaching, but also played on the baseball team and ran track & field. He now has 6 years of sports performance training experience, 7 years of youth development experience, and 5 years of high school sports coaching/ strength training experience.

Ricky created Ije during the 2020 COVID Pandemic. It started with a small group zoom training, and in time Speed School/Sessions followed shortly after. It was a way to gather like minded people to push through their fears in a time of uncertainty and continue to work on their personal growth as well as encourage others to keep moving.

The word “Ije” derives from his Nigerian heritage, it’s literal meaning is movement. He experienced first hand that through movement he could stay focused and motivated to keep moving towards his goals. Through his personal growth the next steps became clear, to spread the message to keep moving. Ije strives to help others adopt this lifestyle no matter what distracting, barrier, or challenge you face, you must “Keep Moving” towards your goals in life.
